“I have photos I can look at when I miss her.
Her spirit doesn’t actually reside in the clothes.
I don’t want to keep carrying these things each time I move.
But I can’t let them go.”

Do You Know Where To Go From Here? premiered at The Space from 31st March to 4th April 2026. The show is performed in English and Cantonese, and blends object manipulation, movement, immersive soundscapes and audience interaction. Drawing on Peta Lil'y’s Dark Clown pedagogy, this piece turns tragedy on its head into moments of shared connection and laughing through pain.

Synopsis

Sophie wakes up in a strange space surrounded by clothes. There is no way out, and God is nowhere to be found. In an attempt to escape, she does the only thing she knows best: tidying up. In the process, she comes face to face with old
wounds in regards to love, loss and everything in between. In this sea of clutter, will she manage to find a lifeline?

‘Do You Know Where To Go From Here?’ is a one-woman dark comedy exploring grief in relation to family, faith, and migration. Disarmingly honest and based on real events, this is a story about reframing our way of being in this world, and the humour and
resilience it takes to live well.
